PETA has asked Ben & Jerry's to use human breast milk, rather than cow's milk, to produce their ice cream.
They note that a Swiss restaurant has recently begun incorporating human breast milk into its menu items. They further point out the dangers of cow's milk, and the poor treatment of dairy cows.
Ben & Jerry's politely declined the request. Vermont is a dairy state, and the company logo includes images of cows. One wonders what Ben & Jerry's new logo might have looked like had they accepted PETA's proposal.
