(08-28) 06:02 PDT Paso Robles, CA (AP) --

A Paso Robles woman apparently sleeps like a log.

Leslie Lamproe snoozed through a dramatic five-hour SWAT team standoff outside her home before a suspected armed robber holed up inside was arrested.

Twenty-five-year-old Justin Rinker, a parolee, had barricaded himself in the Lamproe home after allegedly robbing Chubby Chandler's Pizza on Tuesday night. A police dog tracked Rinker to the home a block from the pizza parlor.

Rockie Lamproe says Rinker came through the back door and the 55-year-old homeowner slipped out the front door when he saw police.

During the five-hour standoff, the man says his 61-year-old wife "slept through everything and didn't know it was going on." The woman wears earplugs when she sleeps.
