According to most ZT rules he should be thrown out of school,and charged with a crime. If he is not dealt with as harshly as a student, than all kids should bring a gun in for show and tell. At least he didn't bring in a Lego gun.

What went through my mind...is anyone in that town who refuses to work without compensation in violation of the law? Because if they ask for money in exchange for work...

Frankly, when I hear the name "Lindsay" (or "Lindsey" --- when you are hearing it, who knows how it is spelled?) I do not think of Ms. Lohan --- even though part of her complaint is "The New York Post reported the lawsuit earlier Tuesday. It said Ovadia maintained that Lohan has the same "single-name" recognition as celebrities like Oprah Winfrey and Madonna."

Until Ms. Lohan made such a stink, I never even considered that there could possibly be any other meaning to the ad other than being "cutesy".

How about zero tolerance? Shouldn't the superintendent be expelled for bringing a gun to school?

They'll find a way to blame a known troublemaker for loading it, whether or not he actually got near it, then they'll expel him and file criminal charges.

I bet a student touched it, or knew about it, or saw it, or . . . well, let's see what else have students been suspended for --- just in the past week?????

My guess is either no one will be disciplined, or they'll find a creative way to make it a student's fault.

Wait a minute!? In this age of online security concerns, we're supposed to share PERSONAL identification numbers??? Pardon me, but isn't that what these companies constantly tell us NOT to do? Ever. For any reason. And now the newspaper is spreading the opposite message: In case you die, have a list of every password just sitting 'out there' somewhere. What a security nightmare.

It was "alleged" in the article --- the Faces owner stated (in a different article) that Ashburn was in the club before his arrest.

He was drunk and near the club. It is "alleged" that he had been in the club, not proven that he had been there. Let's wait until all the facts are in, please.

I used to share rent on a house with a guy who I'd call aggressively agnostic. He truly wanted to have faith, but couldn't quite manage it. The thing is, he'd managed to tie a great deal of his self worth and identity to being Christian. The guy went out of his way to talk about "his" faith. As long as he was dealing with other (more or less) Christians, nothing particularly bad resulted. But he wouldn't take no for an answer on whether people wanted to discuss religion. The day he wound up discussing Jesus Christ with a very devout Muslim and an equally devout Hindu is legendary among those people who witnessed it. We all honestly thought he was about to have a stroke... People like that just cannot leave religious discussion alone. If they saw someone carrying a Bible, the guy with the Bible might not have much choice about entering into a debate.

Some people don't appreciate art, or maybe they just think everything is obscene.
