13 year old Amber injured her knee in sports. The school nurse suggested she see a doctor. The next day, Amber returns to school in a knee brace and crutches. The nurse confiscates the crutches (even though the school fax machine wasn't working to receive the requested doctors note).

Poor girl! I hope they throw a dozen books on the nurse! And make her pay for the knee surgery and rehabilitation and not the government!
She could have used the crutches as weapon? How would a doctor's order have prevented her from doing that? But then you could have blamed the doctor for it, of course!
I really hope that that excuse for a nurse has not destroyed Amber's future!
