An eighth-grade boy at Garfield Middle School was asked to remove his black make-up and nail polish because it was distracting to other students. While he said he won't do it again, his mother is claiming that this is sexism and plans to file a lawsuit. It may well be sexism: school officials allegedly claimed that make-up on men is not socially acceptable.
