It wasn't roosting, it was protesting! Imagine if chickens (Foghorn Leghorn?) ran a restaurant where Human Nuggets were on the menu - wouldn't you get up there and stand between the serving hatch and the chucken in the car trying to pick up his (or her) dinner? :D
