I am not seeing the same story as Aborg, I don't think. The one linked days nothing about Judge O'Connor's husband 'marrying' anyone else.

That's my bad, indeed. :-( My local source had it wrong initially, and I didn't properly check the wording of the original source when I found it. No marriage, 'just' the forgetting that he was married.
