A five year old was detained by airport security because his name matched that of someone on the no-fly list. When his mother went to comfort him, she was told she was not allowed to touch him, and she was then searched again to be sure she didn't remove incriminating evidence.

This is why I would never, ever, hire a former TSA employee.
Remember the German excuse in 1946 was "I was only following orders", we didn't accept it then and we shouldn't now. Mindless dolts.

I wouldn't mind looking more carefully at their bags, but do so knowing that this kid is NOT the guy who is supposed to be on the list. Telling a mother she can't comfort her child in such a situation should NEVER be acceptable policy
