Madeleine Robb (UK) met Megan Santos (Florida) online when both were pregnant. Even after the birth of their children they kept in touch, exchanging emails and photos. One photo had Madeleine concerned for baby Rowan when it showed white inside the eye. She did a little research and suggested Megan take Rowan into the doctor; the diagnosis: retinoblastoma, a rare childhood cancer. Rowan is facing chemotherapy and the loss of her eye, but should do just fine.
