A driver hit a 17-year-old cyclist in August 2004. Now he is suing the cyclist's family for damages in his car. He seeks 20,000 euros (about 30,000 US$), 14,000 euros for damages in his car and 6,000 euros for a substitute car (he says he needs it to work, although it's established that he has more cars.

The driver says: "I don't need the money, but I don't want to lose it either", and "I'm also a victim, the kid can't be repaired but I can".

The cyclist's family: "This is the final stabbing", and "Before this we thought the poor man had to carry my son's death for all his life, now he's taken off his mask".
