400 used tennis balls from the 2008 US Open have been donated by the US Tennis Association to Luc Bordier's school. He's four and has a cochlear implant and can hear what's happening in class, except when he's distracted by background noise, including the scrapping of chairs on the floor. So the chairs and tables in his class room and the library have been fitted with bright yellow tennis balls that could have been hit by Andy Roddick or Serena Williams.
