A 13-year-old girl's sexual shenanigans have put a second man behind bars. Morris Williams, 22, told the judge he thought the girl was 18-years-old, but he found out Tuesday that ignorance is not a defense. On her MySpace page, she claims to be a 19 year old divorced woman.

So this guy finds out he's been deceived by this little temptress, goes to the dad to let him know what happened and winds up with jail time for his trouble.
This being (at least) the second time this has happened, what is her punishment?
Moral of the story: Get a full background check on someone before having sexual relations with them.

If she was mine, though, there would be NO computer access for her until she's actually the age she was claiming on her MySpace page. And no phone, and no cellphone, and no going anywhere without a chaperone....... You get the idea.
It's a little thing I like to call Parenting.
Child Protective Services should be taking this "girl" out of that home to protect her from her "parents" poor judgment. She sends two men to prison who's only real mistake was allowing themselves to be fooled and lied to and the "Dad" says its fair they go to prison because the law is supposed to protect her from HER poor judgement? What a joke. ...and of course both these guys will be forced to spend the rest of their lives registered as sex offenders because of her "parent's" poor judgment.
What a crock!
Just the fact that this is the second time this happened should be enough to get both guys released...but fwdunbar is right....they're screwed for life. Maybe some judge will see who the victims are.
