Walter Marino and his 12 year old autistic son, Christopher, were swept away from Florida inlet by rip tide. They were in the water more than 12 hours. The two used the Disney movie catch phrase to keep spirits up.

I don't think the general public realizes how incredible this really is. Not only did they stay afloat that long -- a miracle in itself -- but they were seen. I spend 6 years flying search & rescue with the Coast Guard (CGAS Cape Cod) and finding a head floating above the water surface is not an easy task. Standard search altitude is 1000 ft., which makes a body look like a kernel of corn in an Olympic-size swimming pool, flying by at 100+ mph.
