Why is it so many of the TSA screeners barely have a high school education and no critical thinking ability whatsoever??? Do they purposefully seek out these folks? On my way to Luxembourg last year the TSA screener was supposedly looking at each passenger's passport documentation in line, prior to reaching the screening area. She looked at my passport, but never looked me in the face before handing it back to me. She was too busy talking to another screener on the other side of the rope about something or other - her conversation was utterly incomprehensible to me because it was all in ghetto slang. ...and I speak four languages (but ghetto slang is not one of them)!
