It's the New Democracy. You are guilty until you can prove your innocence and even after that you are still suspect.
I know all about it. I was questioned by the police about a crime that I did not commit, was never arrested for it, the police cleared me completely, but my records are on file with the DA that I was a suspect, and will be there on file until 2031.
Guilty until proven innocent, and then some. Indeed!
