Husband Mark Smith, in prison for beating his wife, was jealous of friend Steven Green who was escorting Christine Smith to soul music conerts. Released from prison, one day later on his 21st wedding anniversary, he beats up Green and when wife arrives attacks her. Blames bipolar disorder and alcohol; gets returned to prison for 18 months.
